About my family (Describing people)
Hi Alex,
Let me tell you about my family. I live in Manchester with my parents and my older brother. We live in a small house near the city centre.
My father’s name is David. He is 45 years old. He is tall and a bit slim. He has short black hair and brown eyes. He works as a bus driver. He starts work very early in the morning, so he usually goes to bed at 9 p.m. He is very friendly and loves telling jokes.
My mother’s name is Laura. She is 42 years old. She is medium height and has long straight blonde hair. Her eyes are green. She works in a hospital as a nurse. She is very kind and patient. In her free time, she enjoys reading books and cooking new dishes.
My brother, Sam, is 20 years old. He is a university student. He has curly brown hair and blue eyes. He is quite tall like my dad. He loves playing football and listening to music. At the weekend, he often goes out with his friends.
As for me, I am 15 years old. I have short brown hair and green eyes like my mum. I am not very tall. I like drawing and watching films. We also have a small dog called Max. He is brown and very playful. He loves running in the park near our house.
Best wishes,
Emily
