Second and Third Conditionals: Unreal Conditionals — Exercise 3

Last week, I was thinking about how different things could have been at work. If our team (prepare) more carefully, the presentation would have gone much better. I believe that if the manager (listen) to our concerns more often, the atmosphere at the office would be more positive. If we (have) enough time tomorrow, we will review the proposal again. However, if I (be) in charge of the project, I would change the entire strategy. I sometimes wonder what would have happened if the client (accept) our first offer. If they (understand) the risks better, they would not make such quick decisions. On the other hand, if the market conditions (improve) next month, we will invest more money. I am sure we would have avoided many problems if we (communicate) more clearly from the beginning. If my colleague (not miss) meetings so often, our work would be more efficient. If I (know) the answer right now, I would tell you immediately. Unfortunately, if the documents (not send) by Friday, we will miss the deadline. Looking back, I think we would have succeeded if we (take) a bit more risk. If the company (be) more flexible, employees would feel more motivated. Finally, if we (learn) from these mistakes, we will perform better in the future. Still, I often think that things would be very different if I (choose) another career path.
