Other

We use "other" before a noun to talk about people or things that are different or extra.

  • other + plural noun
  • other + uncountable noun

Examples

  • I like these shoes, but I prefer the other ones.
  • Do you have other questions?
  • Some people prefer tea; other people prefer coffee.

Others

Other is a pronoun. It takes the place of other + plural noun.
