Paper Wings – A moving story about ambition and family
Paper Wings is an emotional coming-of-age directed by Mina Clarke. It Tessa Hale and Noah Reed, who give natural and convincing performances. Its final message long after the film has ended. The story seventeen-year-old Erin, a talented model-aircraft designer who dreams of entering an international competition. The becomes more complicated when her family business faces closure and she must choose how to divide her time. A series of surprising decisions the edge of your seat without turning the film into an action movie. The direction is sensitive, and the gentle supports the emotional scenes without becoming distracting. What impressed me most was how the family relationships felt. However, one subplot involving Erin's teacher ends too quickly. Overall, this thoughtful film is teenagers and adults who enjoy character-driven stories. Despite its minor weakness, it is definitely watching.Related lessons
