Last weekend I helped organize a community event in our town. First, the invitations (send) to local residents by email. After that, many volunteers (join) the organizing team to prepare everything. On the day of the event, the main hall (decorate) with colorful banners and lights. Early in the morning, the volunteers (set up) the tables and chairs for the guests. Later, delicious food (prepare) by several local restaurants. During the event, a local band (perform) music for the audience. At the same time, photos (take) by a professional photographer. Many visitors (share) their experiences on social media. By the end of the evening, a large amount of money (collect) for the charity project. Finally, the organizers (thank) everyone who helped make the event successful.
