Use the verbs in brackets with the present simple or the present continuous to fill in the blanks.

Every morning, Sarah (get) up at 6 a.m., but today she (wake) up later because it’s Sunday. She usually (drink) coffee, but this morning she (drink) tea. While she (prepare) breakfast, her brother (watch) cartoons in the living room. After breakfast, Sarah (go) to the park, but today she (stay) at home because it’s raining. Her parents (work) in the garden every weekend, and today they (plant) new flowers. Her dog, Max, (love) to play outside, but right now he (sleep) on the sofa. Sarah’s friends (come) to visit her, and this week they (plan) a small birthday party for her. She (write) in her diary every night, but today she (type) her diary entry on the computer. In the evenings, her family (watch) TV together, but tonight they (play) board games instead. Sarah (do) her homework every day, and this week she (finish) a big project for school.
