Three people talk about their weekends
A — Sofia
At the weekend I get up early because I help my dad in his flower shop. It's hard work, but I like meeting the customers. On Sunday afternoons I always visit my grandmother and we cook lunch together. In the evening I read or paint. I don't watch much television.
B — Tom
I play in a basketball team, so I train on Saturday mornings and we have a match nearly every Sunday. After the match, my friends and I usually go to a burger restaurant. I love animals, and I have two dogs, so I take them for a long walk before bed. I never do homework at the weekend — I do it on Friday.
C — Priya
My weekends are quiet. I'm learning to play the guitar, so I practise for two hours every day. On Saturdays I work in a small café near my house to earn some money. On Sundays I stay at home and study, because I want to be a nurse one day.
