Plans and Predictions with “Be Going To”

Hi Emma,

How are you? I’m writing to tell you about my plans for the weekend! On Saturday, my friends and I 1️⃣ (go) to the beach. The weather looks great, so we 2️⃣ (swim) and play volleyball. I 3️⃣ (take) my new camera to take some photos.

My brother 4️⃣ (not/come) with us because he has an exam on Monday. He 5️⃣ (stay) at home and study all day. Poor him!

In the evening, we 6️⃣ (have) a barbecue by the sea. I 7️⃣ (make) a big salad and some sandwiches. Do you think you 8️⃣ (you/join) us? It will be so much fun if you come!
