Subject: Staying at Home

Hi Alex,

How are you? I hope you are well. I’m writing to you from home because I can’t go out these days. I usually go to college in the city centre, but now all my classes are online.

Every morning, I wake up at 8 o’clock and have breakfast with my sister. Then I turn on my laptop and join my classes. I have three lessons every day. My favourite subject is history because I love learning about the past.

After my lessons, I do my homework and help my mum in the kitchen. In the afternoon, I sometimes watch TV or read a book. I really miss meeting my friends at the café near our college. We often had coffee and talked for hours.

In the evening, I exercise in my room. I can’t go to the gym, so I follow videos on the internet. It’s not the same, but it helps me stay healthy.

I hope this situation finishes soon. I want to see you and our friends again. Let’s plan something special when everything is normal!

Write back soon.

Best wishes,
Mark
