How to Buy Tickets for Glastonbury Festival

Do I need to register?
Yes. Everyone aged 13 or over must register online before ticket day. Registration is free and requires your contact details and a clear recent photograph. Children aged 12 or under do not need registration when they attend with a paying adult.

When do tickets go on sale?
Coach-and-ticket packages go on sale on Thursday evening. Standard tickets become available on Sunday morning. Registration closes one week before the first sale, so do not leave it until the last day.

Do I pay the full price immediately?
No. You pay a £75 deposit for each person when booking. The rest must be paid during the first week of April. The deposit does not include the booking fee.

Can I book for friends?
One person can book up to six tickets. You need the registration number and postcode of every person in the group. All six people do not need to be at the same computer.

How can I pay?
Customers in the UK can use a UK debit or credit card. Customers outside the UK must use a credit card. The website does not accept cash, bank transfers or digital gift cards.

Can I change the name later?
No. Tickets include the registered person's name and photograph, and they cannot be passed to another person. This rule helps stop people selling tickets at very high prices.
